How to change server port?

Im trying to set up a dedicated server, but when i launch it it wont connect and my ping is "---". ive seen people say to change the port and i tried to create a .bat file but it wont open. cant anyone explain? thanks,

Hi, the format for changing the port number is as follows -

mxbikes.exe -dedicated 10410 -set params dedicated.ini

10410 can be changed to the port of your choice.

You can copy and past this into a .bat file if you would like (You may need to include the full path to mxbikes.exe).

Also be sure to open the port of your router or this will also stop it from working.

simple way, create a shortcut on your desktop using the mxbikes.exe, right click on the shortcut and open properties and after the " enter in
mxbikes.exe -dedicated 10412 -set params dedicated.ini                   with a space between the " and m.
10412 is the port, dont use 10410 due to that being the port that the game uses. use something like 10411/10412 and such, make sure to port forward in your router tcp/udp.
and dedicated.ini can be whatever your config is for the server such as serverinfo.ini or slimypossum.ini and such.
