So I've set up my centerline and race data and all seems to be working fine except for 2 things.
When I do a race set for 5 laps, you actually end up doing 6. And the checkered flag appears on screen 2 turns before the finish line but won't actually finish the race until you cross the finish line. Is there any fix for these issues?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
It all depends on where you start gate is relative to your finish line. A lap doesn't start until you cross the finish line the first time. For example, a track like Mantua, the gates are right after the finish line so you have to do a complete lap before crossing the start/finish line which then start the first lap - which then in reality you have done one more lap than what your race was set for.
If you use timed races + 1 or 2 laps, this is a non-issue.
