Title: white numbers on black plates - how?

Sorry for the newbie question, but for skins with black plates, how do I change my numbers to white color?

mxbikes installation folder, misc, fonts, copy default folder, place folder, rename it, edit plate.tga, change font colour, load newly name font in game.
