For the record:
Why is it impossible to have a bike with no suspension?

Lol wow.  Yeah, I think that's a bit too far. ;D If I came to this game, like, six months from now, and saw this mod, I would be like: (??? Why is... who would... why do...)  We could add mountain bikes to BMX-Bikes.

I didn't think that Piboso was actually supporting this.  Hm... I think this interests me..

The tear off animation will come with time.

(Where are you getting mountain bikes from?)

Flat track bikes are a type of dirt bike.  ATVs are motorcycles used in motocross, which is shortened to MX. I don't think the marketing is that misleading.

And the other vehicles in World Racing Series aren't modded.  They come with the game.

Just giving personal opinion here, but this all seems way to arcade.

This isn't MX vs ATV or Sidecar :)

Even if the Mountain Biking comes to be, it should eventually be it's own sim

I don't think adding a bit more variety into the mix will cause the game to be too arcadey.  Piboso has actually already done this with another sim they are working on.  World Racing Series seems to use the same engine as MX-Bikes, and that game includes F1, Rally, Grand Touring, and sprint cars.  I think it would be awesome if this game was diverse like that.

Do you think that ATVs, three wheelers, flat track bikes, and other machines like this should be added into the game later on?

I personally think that ATVs would be ALOT of fun with this game's engine, and adding in some of the less popular motosports would add a never-before-seen dynamic into this game.

It doesn't have to happen soon.  Maybe closer to the game's release.

So,
I figured out how to control the pitch of the MX Unleashed sounds, so now the "sound" right.  But the problem is that, in MX Unleashed, you don't change gears.  When you put those sounds into MXB and you change gears, it sounds... silly.

I'm gonna keep going just because it's fun though.

I think I might be on to something...
Can I make it work...

Yeah, they do.  I just don't have Supercross on the PC.  If someone else could get those sounds for me that would be great, but I'm not counting on it.

In order for the MX Unleahed sounds to work, their pitch would have to remain constant throughout the bike's acceleration.  I've been messing with the .scl file, but it doesn't seem to change anything.  I'll keep playing with it, but in the meantime, I'll use a bike sound I got from ATV Off-road Fury 4.  These sounds seem to be built for their pitch to change with the bike, but they're not very realistic.

My main reason for looking into this was actually to import the MX vs. ATV Alive sounds into the game, because I absolutely love those sounds.  But it'll take some intense googling to figure out how to rip sounds from a PS3 disk, and I'll need to solve the MX Unleashed problem first.

I was thinking about modding MXB with sounds from MX Unleashed, ATV Offroad Fury 4, or whatever games I think would work well.  I saw that TheFatController and some others wanted to do this too...

So, how does it work?  What programs do you think I would need?
