MXB DOES NOT START
Check that you have global.ini in Documents\PiBoSo\MX Bikes\. If this file or folder is missing, an antivirus is probably blocking MXB from creating it

MXB STARTS BLANK, AND QUITS
Check that your graphics drivers are up to date

MXB STOPS LAUNCHING
Try deleting global.ini

SETTINGS AREN'T BEING SAVED
Probably there is an antivirus blocking MXB from writing profile data in Documents\PiBoSo\MX Bikes\

I'VE LOST MY KEY
Please send a PM to PiBoSo or an email to support@mx-bikes.com including first name, last name and email address as they appear in the PayPal receipt.

Tracks / How to Install Tracks
October 14, 2014, 05:46:41 PM
Copy your track .pkz files (or folders) into the mods\tracks folder in
Documents\PiBoSo\MX Bikes

Alternatively you can specify your own mods location by changing the [mods] line in mxbikes.ini
For example:
[mods]
folder=D:\mxbikesmods\

Paints / Paints Install Guide
October 01, 2014, 04:01:17 PM
Create a directory structure in the MX Bikes install folder:

bikes
   350xf
      paints
rider
   paints
   boots
   gloves
   helmets
      default
         paints

Copy the .pnt file into the correct folder.

For example, a rider kit .pnt would go in:
MX Bikes/rider/paints

A helmet .pnt would go in:
Mx Bikes/rider/helmets/default/paints

A bike livery .pnt would go in:
bikes/350xf/paints

Guide also on the docs:

  • Save your paint as a 24 bit tga. The filename must be correct:

    • livery.tga   (bike graphics)
    • bike_parts.tga   (bike metal parts)
    • onboard.tga   (steering / bars)
    • rider.tga    (rider kit)
    • helmet.tga
    • gloves.tga
    • boots.tga
  • Open PaintEd, click the Dir Read button and locate the folder where you saved the tga. After opening, you can click the name on the left side to see a preview on the right side
  • Type a name for your design in the Name box
  • Click the Pack button

Track Editing / Example Track Released
April 18, 2014, 07:35:04 PM
http://www.mx-bikes.com/downloads/mxb_track_example.zip

It's possible to view the track .map file with the Map Viewer program included in the Track Tools.
Hopefully the example files should help getting started with track creation. Feel free to ask questions if anything is unclear, doesn't work as expected etc.

Please note terrained.exe must be copied into the same folder as the .bat files in order to use them.
