Me again, I've been asked by a non member on the chances of ever adding offline competition as in ai players.

I know it's probably a huge undertaking but it would definitely be a great asset for Mxb.

What up.

So after a few of my  videos posted on vital I'm seeing a few complaints pop up regarding the backfire sound of the bikes.

They constantly occur which isn't realistic at all really.
My question is, can we mod these on any way? Maybe lower the volume or get rid of them or adjust the occurrence of them.

With a 200mb buffer trying to load highpoint is a no go.... Piboso have you just allowed for a slightly bigger track limit or something? please can you extend way way more by like 500mb instead of say 50mb.

I dont know the first thing about these things but it seems you have limits in place all over the place, from paints to bike limits. I guess its the same for tracks. You allow bufffers for tracks say upto 150mb but stop there.

EDIT: Geo kindly pointed out that some time in the past the KB in the INI was replaced by MB, i had like a 900TB replay buffer, causing insta-death style crashes... Thanks Geo :D

So after alot of heartache and pain finally we have made it.. The release of Highpoint National!

Hopefully everything should be working as expected and be fully functional.

Originally this was a project i started on my own back in January, http://forum.mx-bikes.com/index.php?topic=1516.0 as you all know track creation is a difficult task as there are many elements involved. As a total rookie to object placement and perfecting a heightmap i decided to lean on our awesome community where we have 3d modelers, game creators and designers, experts and just all out badasses that could help out! All for the love of Motocross and MX Bikes. :) So here we introduce a new idea, as there are many guys behind this project and the greater AMA Outdoor National Pack, we have decided to call our collaboration
 
The MOD Crew

 Basically this is a collective of anyone who is or who wants to get involved in a project,

Right guys, we need some volunteers who can commit do some hard work over the next few months.

Currently we have it setup where i get the initial geo location and heightmap data going then Damo starts the track layout and textures, we are both tweaking the textures though between us as we live in UK and USA, when i go to bed he does tweaks then packs it up ready for me, when he goes to bed i make tweaks and do the same.

All tracks will have proper deformation layers and be rough as hell, we are trying to break away from the smooth carpet covered tracks we have gotten used too.

We need somebody like you Sands :) to get a generic national object pack going with fences/banners, sponge bobs,track markers etc. that can be used on all the tracks.

If you think you can bring something else to this project to speed it up then by all means please help out, it would be awesome for us to have a full national series to race and to have a full cycle on a server!

Please let us know your thoughts and ideas and jump on board this project, we have always talked about it for a long time. lets make it happen!!

as you can see, you come out of a corner and maybe counter steer slightly after the rear steps out a bit and then you go into this crazed front end speed skating thing?  :o

Anyone fancy getting together tonight to stress test?

Pick  a server with deformation and collisions on and get as many people as possible to join with full graphics settings, 3d grass etc. To see what happens? I'll be around about 930/10pm UK time

Warning! this track is 40% done lol. needs alot of work and so do i at jumps and generally everything but im getting there slowly.. here is a beta version for you all to try and by all means help!
I need help with texturing, trying to define inside and outside line, jump shadows etc. also need major help with jumps lol.  but anyways..

Hey all, im just re-learning track creation again and have slowly started building Freestone MX in Texas...again LOL

I know im ahead of myself here but.. I desperately wanna get objects on my track using Sketchup. Is there an objects pack available anyway, i.e trees and tough blocks?

Hopefully i can master sketchup's strange scaling thing and get some in there to bring it to life. :D cheers guys

Hey guys, as some of you may know due to a busy life with 3 young kids and just out right unpredictability of any type of schedule im forced to go privateer for the series this year   :) so i whipped up my own bike for the series which i would NOT like to see people riding thanks!! :):):) Ive said it before and i'll be a twat and say it again,

It is annoying when you have spent time creating a personal skin which is exclusively for the creator and you see people using it, that and it looks unprofessional when several people have the same stuff online unless its slightly different. So please respect my wishes and dont bring it online, feel free to rip whatever bits off it you want just give credit where due :D

Ive included all the gear and boots/helmet etc i will be using :) If you wanna use anything PLEASE EDIT it before you use it, again we dont want 6 number 84's riding round ;)

Just reporting the bug that was present from beta 4 where if you have a replay buffer set of any size and try to load a certain track the game crashes, after removing the buffer the tracks will load.

Tracks that work regardless for me with buffer

Not sure if it has anything to do with heightmap size or what? perhaps Fats can shed some light on his tracks heightmap sizes? :D

Has anyone been using beta 4 tracks with beta 5? I have a replay buffer set and only the b5 tracks work at the moment? any ideas guys? cheers
