Bug Reports / Start DQ Before Going to Gate

Seen many times now with at least 3 different people getting DQ'd before even going to the gate, myself now included? It seems to happen when the game changes to the race session.
Is there some kind of rule that can be broken in the prior session that could explain this perhaps?

Noticed a weird reset position where the start funnel ends, gets you the lead but also a cut penalty as it puts you back in the pits.

Races / Race Tests

So with organised races in mind we need to do some testing to find out what works and what doesn't.

Need to now stuff like -

Hoe many riders can race without issues, cores lag etc.
Do we use collisions
Do we use terrain deformation (and if so at what level, it's adjustable now  :D )
Can we do gate picks after qualy and how does it work (fastest should get 1st pick)
If there's enough entries do we run heats and LCQs etc (would be great!)

And other stuff we can think of to be added.

For instance, once the other night we ran a 13-14 player race and it did not go well at first. Shortly after starting everyone disappeared then re-appeared 5-10 seconds later, might just have been me but we need to find out if this affects others and if a lower number of players might help.

Hopefully some of you will be willing to help answer the above (with online testing) and help decide where we take this.  ;D

As we can run with no collisions, could we be given the option to turn off the reset delay when other riders are coming? Seems a bit superfluous to have it without collisions. Maybe just when collisions are off there's no delay would suffice.

Not sure if anyone would want this to stay on regardless...... ? Most seem to find it frustrating when you get stuck for so long but I don't think with collisions on anyone could say it's a bad idea, but without, maybe.  :)

No online servers seem to be available or listed, is there a general problem? It's been like this since last night roughly.

If possible, it would be really useful to see the client chat in the server console.

Last night we had a few on track and for no apparent reason someone got "ejected" from the server. The ejected player was then told he was banned from the server when trying to rejoin. Any idea why this happened and how it can be stopped? Ping limit was 1000 and I don't think he exceeded this but can't be sure, and if he did get booted for high ping is the ban automatic?
Any other default reason for auto eject and ban?

Is it possible now, and if not can it be changed so it is possible to alter the race start delay which is currently 2 mins? Had a good look at the dedi.ini but can't see anything to change this. 30 seconds or less would be good, 1 min tops.

These skins you guys have done are all great, they make the game feel and look better both individually and collectively. My thanks goes to all you skinners for everything produced.
So that my friends and I can see each others skins I've made a pack of most of the various skins posted on this site. Might this be of interest to others and would any skin makers object to me posting a skin pack link for download? I thought it would make life easier as we're getting a fairly large amount and downloading some can be a PITA.

Bug Reports / Reset Issue

Can't find this mentioned here before. Now that I've started racing close with some others we're getting an issue where if we crash together, neither of us can reset. We have to go back to the pits to get going again, or at least one of us does. Mostly happens when someone in front crashes and while waiting for the other guy to go by gets crashed into by that guy, causing this problem. It's like both bikes are then waiting for the other to go past before allowing a reset.

Simple thing, but most annoying. While on a server last night a joiner was assigned black text, which I assume is allocated randomly, but as the chat screen back-ground is black made it kinda tricky to see his words  ???

While messing about in-game last night I noticed the virtual rider is somehow keeping his bum off the seat while turning and putting out his inside leg -



The pic above was taken while cornering with the inside foot off the peg and hanging forward.

I think others will back me up in saying that while cornering on anything but the most whooped out turns the rider sits down. And if the leg is out during a turn I don't think any human could keep their bum off the seat for long especially with cornering forces involved. Can't imagine this suspended torso will do much for corner stability either.
The riders bum does hit the seat while railing berms etc but the rider moving on and off the seat with one leg out seems surreal to me.

Bug Reports / Auto shift down locking rear wheel..

Playing beta2 last night with auto shifting on and braking where I had been in B1, I got what seemed to be lots of rear wheel lockups causing me to low side. I thought it was my new brake pressure but lowering it loads didn't help. Cured it by going to manual gears, now corner entry speed is way better and no rear locking every time I use big brakes from high speed.

Seemed to me 1st gear was being selected too early by the auto shift, is it just me??

I had, as in B1, been changing my gearing down to a top end of about 122kmh if that makes any difference. I did notice the stock gearing and range has changed (ignore this I was remembering the 250 gearing).
