I recently made some custom gear, and after I save it as a TGA and then pack it in painted and put it into my game. The gear shows up as the default grey? Any recommendations? Am I naming something wrong?

I recently made some custom gear, and after I save it as a TGA and then pack it in painted and put it into my game. The gear shows up as the default grey? Any recommendations? Am I naming something wrong?

Really would appreciate some help, trying to learn SX and I can't seem to keep my front end to not want to point towards the sky every jump. I come from MX Simulator, so maybe it's just the way I play. If it's a common issue, with a common fix please let me know!
