Salut fred_mx !

Hi fred_mx! Pardon my French again, I am using a translator. Are you saying you might be releasing an updated version of this track? If that is true, the community should rejoice, because this is still one of my all time favorite tracks! This is the best Loretta Lynn for sure.

Also, if you update it, you should post on MXB-Mods.com as well. I can't wait to see Budds Creek! Cheers!

I don't know any of those tracks from the list, but all the ones you have made are SUPER fire. I think they is some room for improvement, but the flow you have made in your tracks is really addicting. I absolutely love them, and I can't wait for you to release your next track! Thanks for your work, mate!

Quote from: AZDesertRat on May 21, 2021, 04:34:05 PMGlad you like the track and it's presenting some challenges.  I replied to each question in blue text with my suggestions.  I'm sure better riders than me will find some different lines.

Thank you so much for responding! I have to say, the more time I put in, the more it comes together, just like with any track. I feel like this one is a slick one, with tricks up the sleeve you wouldn't think were there!

I figured I was trying one of the hard lines and getting frustrated at not landing it consistently. The answer is now very clear = need more practice! This track is excellent, and very happy to be able to ride it! Can't wait to put in some more laps and get better. Excited to see anything you release! <3

This track is pretty dang great! I really have nothing negative to say at all, and I think it's more technical that appears! I have a couple thoughts and I want to see what the community is experiencing, because I believe the answer is probably: I need to practice more.

Looks beautiful, and I love the multiple line options. Also, I REALLY love the corners with multiple ruts / berms!

My one gripe: I feel like I can't time some of the sections right. I will find myself either a bit too slow and tag my back wheel, or rushing the corner too hot. There are three specific sections where I can't seem to nail the timing consistently.

There is an outside right turn that hits a lip where you can triple. Both lines seem to do this.
1) If I triple the outside line, I case it just barely clipping the rear wheel if too slow, or can't hit the inside corner if too fast.

2) If I hit the inside line from the right corner, I seem to be more successful, but feels like a "slow down" corner, or back tire slaps the top of the last taller whoop again. (I think this is me just trying to go fast, and I need to learn this line better)

3) The back long rhythm section. Left side feels like one of the lips is incredibly steep and shoots you pretty gnarly if you hit it slightly off.

Again, I haven't put more than 20 laps here, but I would LOVE to see if anyone else is running across some of these while learning this track as well. I really do feel like this track is much harder than it looks, and I think the answer is I just need more practice.

Also, as an extra credit (LOL), what is everyone doing for the short pure whoop section? Seems a very controlled triple / triple / triple might be best?

The track deforms quite a bit actually. Some have mentioned it deforms too much. If the server you are on has deform off then obviously it wont. Whatever the case I'm tweaking some of that stuff soon. Thanks for playing

So sorry for jumping to conclusions! I think that means I need to go slam out some more laps!

Also, I hope this didn't come off wrong, I really love this track so far, you make incredible tracks! The detail is crazy nice, and the layout is really fun. In fact there's this step-up feeling triple that you can REALLY crank out some gnarly fat whips on, or even just float! I really appreciate being able to spin laps on these tracks from the community, you guys are epic!

Whoa... omg this track is absolutely a banger! It's also one of the best looking tracks in the game I have seen so far... holy cow it also happens to ride really fun with some different lines. SICK dude, thank youuuuu!! Wow, can't wait to see if you make any others!

Just jumping back to make a SECOND comment. Sooo it totally makes sense, I didn't realize you also made MactownMX!! That is straight up one of my top favorites, with gnarly flow. I was riding your new one and actually thought that the dirt reminded me a little of Mactown, and then I just viewed your post history. Since I love BOTH of these MX tracks, I think it's safe to say I need to just go ride your Pacific SX track! Thanks again bro, I want to just comment here I absolutely LOVE the ruts that  build in the corners of Mactown, and I'm noticing some nice ones now starting with Borken Spoke!

Wow, thank you for this track! I am very impressed by the flow... I absolutely LOVE that you have a pretty decent length optional section.. and it's very smooth. This whole track flows really well, and I can't wait to figure out what kind of times I can put down! Only feedback is some of the big rock shadows seem to cast weird triangles. I can't wait to see what else you make, this is one of the best fantasy tracks I've played in this game, super rad.

Edit: 1:57.126 so far (first go around)

Quote from: CSchmied986 on March 17, 2021, 09:51:38 PMDUDE!!! This is the first release I've noticed from you and it really is next level work!!! One thing, would it be possible to release a mid-day or night version of this track? The dim lighting can be a little tough sometimes. Can't wait to see more of your work!

Oh man, I agree actually! Being able to see this in like a noon or mid-morning type setting would be amazing. I have to say though, the feeling of this track being late afternoon feels really awesome. But it does strain my eyes a little bit :)

I still also wish the deformation was more evident. I still can't really tell if I'm making any deformation after quite a few laps. But otherwise, this is probably my favorite track. Some of the craziest flow and very interesting sections. I love this thing!!

Wow, this track is absolutely beautiful! Can't wait to learn it. It has some super sick lines so far, one I didn't think I could clear... but made it with a seat bounce.

One question: I am not noticing any ruts forming. Is the deformation on for this track? I really want to see how it starts playing when they form. Maybe I haven't put enough laps around it :P

Wow, I really like this track! Only feedback would be a little more bank on the berms.

Also, is it just me, or is there no deformation? I have ran probably 10 laps and I don't think I see any ruts? I really want to start rutting up this track!!!

I agree with SixIX MX; for some reason I felt compelled to learn a rhythm around the crack track 2.0, that gnarly looking short sand track. It was super hard at first (and still is) but I think learning that sand track just made me waaaay better at this game. That sand track is pretty hard, but amazingly fun if you nail a good line. First time I thought "hmm can I triple that last set before the "hole shot" turn"? And once I figured out you could, yesss! This sand track is actually one of my top go-to's right now, and it's not even the main track! Super sick job on that one man, thank you!

Also, if you get a good flow on this sand track portion, it looks insanely good on replay just for how much randomness there is. A+ I'm sorry I can't give more feedback on the main MX lol, but I hope this is still good to hear! :D

Hey bud, this sounds like a really cool mod! But I am a little confused. I notice a lot of the Tucko tracks are super fun, but most don't have cameras. I wish all tracks had them! :)

I'm confused on the .PKZ maps, I tried to copy TFC_Paleta_Raceway_2020 to another location (so I don't mess up) and try renaming that file to .zip and it froze up on me, and I can't add anything to that compressed folder. Is this the right way to do it, just rename the .pkz > .zip and toss the camera file in there? Do I need to copy the original .pkz and place it in the zip folder too? I really want to try this out, because I realize some of the most fun I have is finally landing a really clean lap or section and want to replay it back without having to manually try to keep the camera on the rider.

Maybe I am doing something wrong with making a .zip file, basically that TFC Paleta is my goal for cameras, one of my favorite tracks. Any help or direction you can provide would be great! Also, will you be making more? If so, and I get these to work, can I request some? :)
