Is it possible to get rid of these?

Anyone know how to get rid of these textures in the pants?  I'm trying to make Carhartts but they have mx pants textures in the knees and whatnot.  I deleted that layer but it doesn't get rid of it.  The bike and gear in the photo are my first attempts at making skins so definitely still trying to figure it out.

Yeah, modify the rider_n texture. This is the normal map texture for the rider paint, which illuminates these seams and stitches

Haven´t figured out yet how to do it! Tried it 1000 times and never worked.
If anyone could explain it with more details I would be very thankfull.
