Turning PNT Files To PSD's HELP

So a kind dude by the name of jojo made me a gear set and i wanted to mess around with some of the colors and stuff you know to make a different look, and when he sent me the file it came as a pnt which i know is the proper way to get a skin in game, i was wondering is it possible to transform it back into a psd file so i can work on it?

Just ask him for the psd. Im sure he wouldnt havea  problem giving you it
