Track editing questions/help

Only textures can be animated on track objects. Wind effect is not implemented yet and not sure PiBoSo is planning to make it.

Animated gifs? Is there anything special you need to do to get them working or just include them as normal textures?

It's sort of animated tga. You have to put all you frames in a folder and create a text file describing names and speed between each one. I'm not at home so I can't give you an exact step by step, but if you're interested I'll try to retrieve the step by step method :)

So, if not aa texture then must be a way to animate objects

Marshalls are 3d people, moving, so absolutely there must be a way..

I'd like to animate a huge spherical skydome, very very slowly..

Have you tried shortening it?  AFAIK there are limits on the number of characters other things can be....

Sandbiter, is the problem MXB crashing when loading the track, or that there is no collision on your object?

Does the track load ok if you disable the scenery.edf?

It loads perfectly. My objects just don't have collisions.

I tried it again today. Now my game crashes.

The track loads fine. But when I want to ride, it crashes.
It doesn't load without the scenery either. I'll try once more later today.
